Mediation practices find it useful for parties to have access to other services, including financial planners, attorneys and psychotherapists. Celia Woolverton, LICSW, LCSW offers psychotherapy for individuals, couples and families, including children, adolescents and adults as a separate service.
We do not offer clinical services to clients who are in mediation with our company. However, Ms. Woolverton does offer services to individuals who are using other mediation firms or who want individual, couples or family psychotherapy.
Dispute resolution involves strong feelings by all parties. The Co-Mediation model addresses many emotions experienced in the mediation process, but there is sometimes the need for psychotherapy services where a party can process more fully the vast array of emotions/experiences that are triggered by dispute.
Ms. Woolverton is a licensed psychotherapist with over 25 years of clinical experience. As a psychotherapist, she has worked with the grief, sadness, anger, trauma, etc., often experienced by a party in a dispute.
Ms. Woolverton practices (depending on the location) under her New Hampshire, Tennessee and Massachusetts license. Her fee is $200 for a 50 minute session.
